I live next to superstore and love their price matching, easy to navigate around store.
Today I called because I was at the east location but they were out of a product that I only get from either store because I’ve never seen it sold at any other store. Specialty donuts my son can eat and my gluten free friends.
It’s not a huge deal but just a reminder how valued time is, I waited ten minutes on the phone to be passed from person to person to finally have a person who said she doesn’t think they ever sold it. Which is fine because I wasn’t even annoyed, it’s a strange name and barely heard of unless you have all these dietary needs. I politely said ‘no I buy it here only so I know it’s been sold here,’. She says she’ll look and not even seconds later says no she doesn’t see it and hangs up without another word as I was trying to say thanks for checking.
It makes people’s day to know someone put some effort in to help. I don’t appreciate after all that wait to literally be dismissed and then hung up on. How can I even assume she actually looked for the product? Remind your employees that even phone customers deserve to be spoken to kindly and using up their time to make the call.
Decent selection with a good location close enough to downtown. Fresh produce most days and a good selection of meat but can be a bit pricey unless there's a good sale on at the time. It fav thing from here is usually the salmon or rainbow trout. The lines can also be a little long at times but that's to be expected. It's also on a bus route with a gas station in the parking lot. The convenience of the wine store inside the building is always a nice place to stop for a dinner drink too.
I would like to thank Cole in the bakery department for your great customer service.. I was relieved when you told me there was more sourdough bread in the back. You sliced them up perfectly!!! You are a friendly young man and have a nice smile!! Kudos
